PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown men's swimming diving team hosted both Harvard and Boston University in the Februinvite held at the Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatics on Friday and Saturday.
The Bears opened the event strong as Ryan Saenger and Sovijja Pou placed first and second respectively in the 500 Yard Freestyle while Matt Luminais, William Lacosta, and Adam Voss swept the top-three spots in the 50 Yard Freestyle.
Saenger added his second title of the day as he recorded a time of 1:41.25 in the 200 Yard Freestyle. In the 100 Yard Backstroke, Voss edged out Boston University's Peter Campbell by nearly three seconds (51.31) before Luminais (45.70) and Lacosta (47.12) placed first and second respectively in the 100 Yard Freestyle.
Brown will be idle for two weeks as they prepare for the Ivy League Championships at Harvard from Feb. 27-March 1.
