2010-2011: Competed for the Bears at the Ivy League Championship meet.

2009-2010: Scored in the 1000 freestyle (21st) and the 1650 freestyle (15th) at the Ivy League Championship meet...Finished the season ranked in the top 25 all-time at Brown in the 1000 freestyle (21st) and the 1650 freestyle (19th)...Earned his varsity letter.

Before Brown: High School team MVP…Sully Award Winner for excellence in academics and athletics.

Personal: John Hug is the son of Tanya and Christopher Hug of Weatogue, CT…He has one brother, Sam, and one sister, Christiana.
