#14 Bears Fall To #4 Harvard, 9-0, To Open Season

Cambridge, Mass. - The 14th ranked Brown men's squash team came up against a tough Harvard squad in its opening match of the season, before falling, 9-0, in a hard fought match at the Crimson's home courts.

Brown's closest matches came at number the number six and nine positions. Freshman Brad Thompson battled the Crimson through three tight matches, falling 9-1, 10-8 and 9-6 in the most spirited match of the evening.

At number nine, junior Alex Heitzman threw everything he had at Harvard, before falling 9-4, 9-7, 9-3 in a hotly contest match.

The Bears will be back in action again at the Pizzitola Sports Center on December 6th against Princeton, and on December 7th against Penn.
