Bears Toppled By Cornell, 9-0

Providence, RI - Despite strong play by the middle of the lineup, Brown dropped a 9-0 decision to Cornell Sunday afternoon at the Pizzitola Sports Center.

Freshman Evan Besser dropped a tough 3-1 decision at number four, while senior North Whipple battled at number five, before falling by a 3-2 margin. Sophomore Pat Davis fought hard at number six, before succumbing, 3-1. Senior Chester Hall also played well, but dropped a 3-1 decision at number seven.

The Bears will be back on the squash courts again on Tuesday, January 22, against Amherst, beginning at 4:00 p.m.
