
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The 13th ranked Brown men’s
squash team opened its season against Harvard at the Pizzitola
Sports Center and dropped a 9-0 decision to the Crimson Friday
evening.
Junior Adrian Leanza opened at number one for the Bears, and
battled the Crimson before falling 11-4, 11-4, 12-10. At number
seven, senior captain Adam Greenburg was tied at 1-1, before
dropping the last two games, 11-5, 11-2.
Bears’ senior Alex Heitzmann jumped ahead early with an 11-9
first game victory, but fell in the next three games, 11-5, 11-8,
11-5.
Coach Stuart leGassick’s team will be back in action again,
December 5 at Princeton and December 6 at Penn.
