Daniels Named Ivy League Rookie of the Week

Brown freshman Andrew Daniels (Milwaukee, WI) was named the Ivy League Rookie of the Week after assisting on the game-winning goal in Brown's 1-0 win over Dartmouth, clinching the Ivy Title outright for the Bears.

The assist was Daniels fourth of the season as he is tied for the team lead in assists. He also is second on the team among rookies in scoring with his four points. All four of the freshman's assists have come on game-winning goals to senior Adom Crew (Columbia, MD). Daniels saw action in 13 games, earning a starting role at the beginning of the season.

The Bears are gearing up for the NCAA Tournament as they received an automatic bid with their Ivy crown. The team will find out today, Monday, Nov. 17, at 3:30 p.m. who it will face in the opening round of the tourney.
