Men's Soccer Downs Yale 1-0 For Third Ivy League Win

New Haven, CT - Sophomore Seth Quidachay-Swan (San Francisco, CA) scored his first career goal fifteen minutes into the second half as the Brown men's soccer team came away with a 1-0 victory over the Yale Bulldogs on Saturday evening.

Quidachay-Swan's goal was a rocket from 20 yards out that came on a through ball from sophomore Julian Jordan (Fort Wayne, IN), who picked up an assist for the second straight game.

Freshmen Chris Gomez (Bellflower, CA) and David Mahoney (Wellesley, MA) split time in net for the Bears to earn the shutout. Gomez had two saves and Mahoney had one save on the evening.

With the win, Brown remains in the hunt for their second consecutive Ivy League title by improving their league record to 3-1-1. The Bears' overall record now stands at 5-7-2.

The team returns to action on Sunday, November 11when they host Dartmouth at Stevenson Field at 1:00 p.m.
