Men's Soccer Drops 2-1 Overtime Decision To 17th Ranked Boston College

Chestnut Hill, MA - The Brown men's soccer team suffered a 2-1 overtime loss to 17th ranked Boston College Wednesday afternoon. Brown falls to 5-5-4 on the season. The Bears tied the game with 1:23 left on the clock in the second half, forcing overtime. The Eagles scored the game-winning goal 4:20 into the first overtime off a corner kick.

Sophomore Jeff Larentowicz (West Chester, PA) scored the lone goal for Brown, his first of the season, off a corner kick taken by sophomore Marcos Romaneiro (North Brunswick, NJ). In goal, sophomore Chris Gomez (Bellflower, CA) made five saves in 95:40 minutes of action. The Eagles out-shot the Bears 16-5.

Brown continues action on Saturday Nov. 2 at Penn for a 2:30 contest.
