#20 Men's Soccer Posts 3-0 Shutout Over Harvard, Improving to 3-0 in Ivy Play

Cambridge, MA - The 20th ranked Brown men's soccer team remains a perfect 3-0 in Ivy League play after shutting out Harvard 3-0 on Saturday, Oct. 18 in Cambridge, MA. Junior Marcos Romaneiro (North Brunswick, NJ) led Brown with two goals while senior Adom Crew (Columbia, MD) added one. Junior Chris Gomez (Bellflower, CA) stopped all nine of the Crimson shots for his fourth shutout of the season. Brown is now 7-3-1 overall on the season.

Romaneiro scored what proved to be the game-winning goal late in the first half off a indirect kick. He added his second goal of the game nine minutes into the second half on a penalty kick to give the Bears a 2-0 lead. Romaneiro now has 14 points on the season on five goals and four assists.

Crew sealed the victory at the 57:58 mark when he netted his seventh goal of the season from passes by sophomore Ibrahim Diane (Potomac, MD) and senior Derrick Woodard (Blacklick, OH).

Brown will continue action on Wednesday, Oct. 22 at Fairfield at 7 p.m.
