The men's soccer team was defeated 2-0 by the thirteenth-ranked University of San Diego Toreros on Friday night in their first game at this weekend's San Diego Tournament.
San Diego got on the board in the first half at 31:50 when Eric Wunderle scored off of a corner kick. The Toreros added another goal in the second half when Scott Martin scored on a breakaway at 65:38.
Brown was out shot 21 to 13 on the evening. Senior Peter Mahoney (Wellesley, MA) had four saves in goal for the Bears.
The Bears (2-3) will be back in action at the San Diego Tournament on Sunday, September 30, when they will take on San Diego State at 4:00 p.m.
