Men’s Soccer Battles Florida Gulf Coast to Scoreless Tie
FORT MYERS, Fla. – Senior goalkeeper Mitch Kupstas (Suwanee, Ga.) recorded a season-high eight saves in net as the Brown men’s soccer team battled Florida Gulf Coast University to a scoreless tie in Saturday evening’s non-conference tilt at the FGCU Soccer Complex.

Men’s Soccer Falls at USF, 3-1
TAMPA, Fla. – Sophomore Tyler Long (Clarksville, Tenn.) scored his first goal of the season late in the second half, but the Brown men’s soccer team could not climb back from an early deficit as the Bears fell at the University of South Florida, 3-1, in Thursday evening’s non-conference game at Corbett Stadium.

Cross Lifts Men’s Soccer Over Lehigh, 2-1
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Junior Will Cross (Nashville, Tenn.) scored the game-winning goal with less than 12 minutes left in regulation to break a tie game and lead the Brown men’s soccer team past Lehigh, 2-1, in Sunday afternoon’s non-conference contest at Stevenson Field.

Brown Falls to Providence, 3-2, In Overtime
Daniel Neustadter scored a golden goal in the 94th minute for Providence to lead the Friars to a 3-2 overtime win over Brown in an intercity battle at Stevenson Field. The loss drops the Bears to 1-2-0 overall, while the Friars’ record improves 4-1-0.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Junior Tariq Akeel (Rochester Hills, Mich.) scored the game-winning goal in the 85th minute to lift the Brown men’s soccer team to a 1-0 shutout over No. 23 Boston University in Sunday night’s non-conference tilt at Nickerson Field.
