Providence, RI- Former Brown University soccer standout Jeff Larentowicz '05 has earned two more caps in the last week for the U.S. Men's National Team.
Larentowicz started and played 62 minutes in a 1-0 victory over Venezuela on January 21st, and he came on as a sub in the 67th minute in a 1-0 win over Panama on January 25th.
Larentowicz, a member of the Colorado Rapids, earned his first cap when he played 90 minutes against Chile on Jan. 22, 2011. He was voted MVP of the Colorado Rapids in 2011 and spent three weeks training with Bolton in the 2011 offseason. He's been a consistent starter in MLS since he was drafted in 2005 by the New England Revolution, and has played at least 26 games in every year of his professional career since 2006.
