Providence, RI - Brown University Athletics has announced the Bears' expanded spring sports ticket, broadcast, and promotional schedule.
Tickets for the 2009 men's lacrosse season are now on sale at BrownBearsTickets.com or by calling the Brown Ticket Office at (401) 863-2773. Tickets are required to attend all home games - on either Meister-Kavan Field or Stevenson Field - and cost $5 for adults and $3 for children ages 12 and under. Brown students must show a valid ID for free admission to men's lacrosse games. General public and student admission to all other spring sports is free.
Through their partnership with B2 Networks, Brown will once again provide internet video streaming of men's and women's lacrosse games played at Stevenson Field and have added baseball and softball video streams to the broadcast calendar. Live video coaches shows and select road games complete the B2 Networks offerings.
A number of pay-per-view options are available, including All-Sports Passes and single event passes. Fans may also access audio-only broadcasts of men's and women's lacrosse games played at Stevenson Field at no cost. To listen to and/or watch the Bears on the internet, go to BrownBears.com and click on "Audio & Video" on the left side of the page. Please check the schedule closely early in the season and during inclement weather.
Planned promotional events include the Rhode Island Lax Festival on April 4, BrowNation events, National Girls and Women in Sports celebration, Spring Weekend Double-Headers, and much more. For more information about tickets, broadcasts, and promotions contact Rick Merriam at (401) 863-9377.
