The Buckeyes made it interesting in the game's waning minutes with four late goals, the final tally by Randisi with 39 seconds left to play.

The difference in the game was Bears' junior goalie Nicholas Gentilesco (Setauket, NY), who made a career high 19 saves, including 11 in the first half. Ohio State goalie Mike Rimmer made 11 saves for the Buckeyes.
