The knee is healthy, and his freshman year, filled with repetitions and experience, is under his belt.  The time is here for Dan to make his move, literally.  Dan had a very good fall and he is no longer satisfied with only providing our program depth; neither is the staff.  He is securing playing time, and he will be found at either the midfield or attack position.  Dan has a lightening quick first step to go along with vision and increasing strength.  His advances in the weight room make him (1) pound-for-pound the strongest man in the program and (2) a tougher dodger to contain.  Dan will be asked to create offense, and can be a significant match-up problem for our opponents...2009:  Saw action in 13 games for the Bears...Registered shots against Vermont and Delaware...Secondary School Background: A graduate of Georgetown Prep where he lettered in lacrosse (3)... Member of the #1 ranked team in the country his sophomore year and the #4 ranked team in the country his junior year...Member of the D.C. Under Armour Underclassman team...2007 Jake Reed Blue Chip Camp selection...Recipient of the Dean of Students award for academic and athletic leadership...Personal: The son of Denis and Kathy O'Brien...Has three sisters, Caitlin, Meghan, and Erin...Enjoys skiing and golf...Undecided on his concentration.
