The staff told Peter much more would be asked of him in 2009, and he took the full advantage of this as he became one of the best defensemen in the league (First Team All-Ivy) and nationally (HM All-American). Few clear the ball better than Peter, and we devised a clear at the midpoint of the 2009 season that relied on his sophisticated stick-work and shrewdness with the ball in his stick. Peter also has an uncanny knack for running out opposing team shots, stealing possessions. He had an outstanding season defending outstanding attackmen, highlighted by "holding" Bryant's Zack Greer to 2 goals despite incurring a thigh bruise during the game...2009: USILA honorable mention All-American... First Team All-Ivy and All-New England...Led the Bears with 59 ground balls, averaging 3.7 per game...
