Recent Syracuse graduate Tim Harder is the newest member of coach Lars Tiffany’s Brown men’s lacrosse coaching staff.
"With the addition of Tim Harder to the Brown Lacrosse staff, we have successfully fulfilled our search for an insightful, talented and emerging coach,” said Tiffany. “Tim has proven himself to not only be a tenacious lacrosse player with his successful playing career at Syracuse University, but also an intuitive and knowledgeable instructor of the game. For Brown Tim will focus his efforts on the face-off specialists and the defense as well as serve as the game-day substitution coach."
A 2011 graduate of Syracuse with a degree in Business Management, Harder helped the Orangemen capture back-to-back National Championships in 2008 and 2009.
Harder was a face-off specialist for Syracuse in 2009 and was a defensive midfielder on the number one and three ranked scoring defenses in the country the following two years. Also played short stick on man down. In 2012, he served as a student assistant at for the Orangemen.
He played for the Hamilton Nationals of the MLL in 2011 and 2012.
A native of Garden City, NY, Harder attended Garden City High School, where he led the Trojans to an 18-2 record and the Section VIII Class B title in 2007. He was a two-year captain and All-Nassau County selection.
