What happens when you have proven yourself as a reliable and consistent performer at one position, yet you are willing to do whatever is asked of you for the greater good of the program? You find yourself, as Dan is doing now, carrying both a short and long stick to practice and training at two positions. A leader and team captain, Dan has always maintained a team-first attitude while playing the demanding position of short-stick defensive midfielder. This year we have asked him to bring more experience to our close defense as well. Dan knows what it means to make the required plays without much fanfare on defense.
