Providence, R.I. – Brown freshman attackman Henry Blynn (Villanova, Pa.) led an offensive explosion on Sunday with five goals in Brown's 21-9 win at High Point and has been named the Ivy League's Rookie of the Week for the second time this season.
The Bears won their fifth straight game as they scored their most goals in a contest since 1999. Blynn set the tone early as four of his five goals came in the first 23 minutes of the game.
Blynn has a goal in each of the six games this season thus far and is Brown's leading scorer with 21 points (13 goals, 8 assists).
It is the fourth straight week that a Brown freshman has won at least a share of Rookie of the Week honors with Blynn winning two of those.
