How do you earn the respect of your teammates in your first semester despite standing taller than no one and not having played as much field lacrosse as most of the others?  Todd did this with pure heart, and a left hook.  What Todd brings to the program is a tenacity for getting to the loose ball and making it his.  If he fails at first, he simply does not give up as he will attack the ball carrier with his stick and his body if need be.  With senior Roger Ferguson as a mentor, Todd has been learning the demands and required skills of a collegiate long-stick midfielder.  Todd has been able to return the favor in the box lacrosse settings created during several morning training sessions this fall, as he has modeled a debilitating cross-check to his teammates as well as a good combination right jab followed by a left hook for anyone who is willing to challenge him…Secondary School Background:  A graduate St. Michael’s College School, where he lettered in lacrosse (1)…Lacrosse - Started playing lacrosse as a freshman (Box + Field) and received Most Improved Player two years in a row…Starter for every varsity game played at St. Michael College School…team captain as a senior…All-star selection for Blue Chip 225…New England Lacrosse Camp (2011)… Ontario High School Champions 2011, and Silver medal 2012 (OFSAA - Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations)…Hockey - Captain for three years of GTHL (Greater Toronto Hockey League) 'A' team…Football - Started every game each year…Captain and Team MVP his sophomore year…played Slotback, Safety…won West Toronto Division Championship…Track and Field - Ran 100m, 200m and 4X100m relay…won Bronze in Ontario Provincials (OFSAA) freshman year for 4X100m relays...Academic Honors and Awards - Honor Roll every year of High School…Recipient of the Hugh McDougall Award (Highest History grade for an Athlete in Senior Year)…Personal:  The son of Larry and Mary-Ann Stewart…Has a sister, Danielle, and a brother, Lee…Enjoys reading, and canoeing…English concentrator.
