One of the best names ever for a lacrosse goalie, this man actually does not resemble the moniker.  Will is one of the stronger men in the program and he finished in the top half of the group with the Meeting Street Mountain Run.  Where the last name may best reflect Will is in the cage after a strong showing in Ivy Conference play last season.  In his first year as a starting goalie, he stepped into this role with no intimidation and an unwavering determination to be the best he could be.  As 2012 progressed, Will became more comfortable and more stubborn with giving up goals.  Will earned 2nd Team All-Ivy recognition with solid play in most league games, highlighted by double-digit save performances in the final four.  He weathered some big storms, facing more shots than most Division One goalies saw last season (486).  Will has that characteristic that most good goalies, in any sport, possess:  the short-term memory after giving up a goal.  Will's ability to stay positive and focused, despite what felt like an onslaught at times, molded him into a reliable goalie.  Will erased what was a question mark for the 2012 season outlook and turned the goalie position for Brown into an advantage in most of our head-to-head match-ups…2012:  Second Team All-Ivy selection… Posted a 9.03 goals against average and ranked second in the Ivy League in save percentage (.530)…His 10.0 saves per game were 25th in the nation…Registered double-digit save performances in eight games, including a career high 17 saves vs. Yale…Had 16 saves vs. Bryant and 14 saves vs. Cornell…Picked-up 26 ground balls…Saw action in 883:47 of Brown’s total playing time of 915:54…2011: Earned a starting role against Dartmouth, playing the first quarter…Totaled 40:09 minutes for the season, allowing 11 goals…Made four saves against Quinnipiac and three saves vs. St. Joseph’s…Secondary School Background:  A graduate of Mt. Lebanon High School where he lettered in lacrosse (4)…Team captain as a junior and senior…All-American his senior year…Played for the Western Pennsylvania Lacrosse Champions in 2007, 2008 and 2009…Two-time All-WPIAL and All-MSLCA…2009 Nike Blue Chip Camp...The Almanac 2010 Boy’s Lacrosse MVP…Highest Honor Roll all four years…member of the Cum Laude Society…Personal:  The son of Jeffrey and Judith Round…Enjoys ice hockey, music and the beach…Economics concentrator.
