Given his orders, the Terminator refuses to be denied in the completion of the mission.  Every day, and without hesitation, Steve embraces the philosophy that he will not be outworked:  he is the proverbial "there is someone out there right now working harder than you" man.  He is the one who is not resting nor relaxing because he does not forget his priorities.  His ethos has delivered results for the Brown Lacrosse program at both ends of the field.  After focusing his playing time on defense as a freshman, Steve expanded his role and played more offense his sophomore year.  He scored two pivotal goals versus Cornell in a victory up in Ithaca and he had the game-winning goal against Dartmouth.  What will Steve's orders be in 2013?  With the new rules emphasizing faster play and prioritizing men who can make plays at both ends of the field, Steve is already a natural fit.  As a staff, we know we can give him more and more responsibility:  he craves it.  We know that no matter what happened on the play before, he bounces back quickly from any highlight or misstep and focuses on making the next play…2012:  Scored eight goals, while dishing out one assist…Scored two goals in games vs. Dartmouth, Cornell, and St. Joseph’s…Picked-up 15 ground balls, including a season high three GB’s vs. Vermont…2011: Competed in all 14 games for the Bears…Registered 15 ground balls for the season, including a season best four ground balls vs. Quinnipiac…Had an assist vs. Dartmouth…Secondary School Background: A graduate of Chaminade High School, where he lettered in lacrosse (2) and football (2)…Also attended Deerfield Academy… CHSAA All-League, and CHSAA League Champion...Led league in points and scoring…Top midfield point scorer at Deerfield…WNE Division I All-League selection…Football team captain…CHSAA All-League…CHSAA Senior Bowl All-Star Team…National Honor Society…Chaminade Honor Society…Four-year Honor Roll student…Chaminade Excellence in Character Award…Personal: The son of Stephen and Barbara Chmil…Has two sisters, Alexandra and Courtney, and a brother, Matthew…Dad, Stephen, played professionally for the Atlanta Braves…Concentrating in COE/Economics.
