After earning some meaningful minutes in his freshman year, Phil has furthered his development and is now in a battle for one of the starting positions at close defense. He has become an even more reliable stick handler, grown stronger and is more vocal with the defensive schemes. Cool and calm under game pressure, or with a defensive coach barking at him, Phil maintains his focus and continues to execute the scheme.
