Reunited and it feels so good. Alex is back on the defensive end, rejoining his long stick mates and bringing back his big cross-check. The program is excited to have Alex in this position where he can undertake "battle royale", going head-to-head with our opponents biggest and best offensive threats. In addition, there are few faster when going coast-to-coast. When he gets up to full speed, he seems to cover 5-yards in a single stride. And once he arrives in our offensive end, Alex has the strong pull with his own shot to be a menace for the opposition…2011: Earned a starting role against Harvard while playing in all 14 games…Had seven points for the season (5 goals, 2 assists)…Scored two goals against St. Joseph’s and one each vs. Quinnipiac, Duke and Bryant…Picked up 7 ground balls, including three against Dartmouth…2010: Played in all 14 games for the Bears…Finished the season with two goals and one assist…Scored goals against providence and Cornell…Also picked=up 16 ground balls for the season, including five vs. Harvard…Secondary School Background: A graduate of the Severn School where he lettered in lacrosse, basketball, and football… Lacrosse and football team captain… Recipient of the Players Award… All-Ann Arundel County… Also named a Bilderback All-Star and a MSCLA Senior All-Star… Second Team All-MIAA “A” Conference and named to the Freestate All-Star Team in 2008… Played club lacrosse for the Baltimore Elite Lacrosse Club, Severn River Lacrosse Club, and the Freestates… Also named All-County, ALL-MIAA “B” Conference and to the Baltimore Touchdown Club Senior All-Star Team in football… Served as senior prefect… Personal: The son of William Bailey Jones III, who attended Brown, and Jean Catherine Hundley… Has an older brother, William, and a younger brother, David… Enjoys reading and watching movies…Philosophy concentrator.
