What other sport provides the best training and preparation for a lacrosse player? There are many possible answers, but basketball certainly has a strong argument due to pick-and-rolls, help defenses and the motion of ball-control offenses. This is exactly where we found Femi this fall. Recruited off of the OMAC basketball courts, Femi accepted the challenge of learning a new sport and breaking into an established team. He has done both equally well, quickly becoming adept with throwing and catching a lacrosse ball and earning the trust, respect and friendship of the team.
