How many defensive midfielders get turned into attackmen their senior years?  Who does that?  With Andrew Feinberg’s injury this fall and the early departure of Tyler Fernandez for the land of semi-pro hockey, there was a void on the left side of the cage.  The biggest impression made upon on all of us is how quickly Jeff adapted to the position with sophisticated stick-work, great hands to catch just about anything, and savvy play off ball with picks and cuts around the crease.  He has the rest of us convinced that he can find significant playing time for us on the offensive end of the field.  But Jeff is not breaking all ties with his defensive friends, as he continues to start on the Man Down unit...2010: Played in 11 games for the Bears…Picked-up three ground balls in Brown’s key Ivy win over Dartmouth…2009: Played in all 16 games for the Bears…Scored a goal vs. Delaware…Registered three ground balls for the season…2008: Saw action in seven games for the Bears…Scored a goal vs. Lehigh…Also picked-up five ground balls…Secondary School Background:  A graduate of Western Reserve Academy where he lettered in lacrosse (4), soccer (4) and ice hockey (4)…Team captain in lacrosse and ice hockey (2 years)…Second team All-MSLA in 2006 and 2007…All-time leading hockey point scorer in school history…Academic All-American…First team All-County League in soccer…Personal: The son of Jeffrey and Betsy Foote of Hudson…Has a brother, Andrew, and a sister, Julie…Enjoys photography…American History and Economics concentrator.
