One recruiting strategy is to pursue young men who are great athletes that have a great deal of potential once they focus on just one sport.  Alex is a prime example of such.  The 3-sport athlete from Severn now has a stick in his hands almost daily, and the results are already evident.  In Alex we find a tall, fast, electrifying midfielder.  The offensive and defensive coaches are each making their case for why Alex should be on their end of the field.  With repetitions and more experience, Alex may eventually be found at both ends…Secondary School Background: A graduate of the Severn School where he lettered in lacrosse, basketball, and football… Lacrosse and football team captain… Recipient of the Players Award… All-Ann Arundel County… Also named a Bilderback All-Star and a MSCLA Senior All-Star… Second Team All-MIAA “A” Conference and named to the Freestate All-Star Team in 2008… Played club lacrosse for the Baltimore Elite Lacrosse Club, Severn River Lacrosse Club, and the Freestates… Also named All-County, ALL-MIAA “B” Conference and to the Baltimore Touchdown Club Senior All-Star Team in football… Served as senior prefect… Personal: The son of William Bailey Jones III, who attended Brown, and Jean Catherine Hundley… Has an older brother, William, and a younger brother, David… Enjoys reading and watching movies… Undecided on his concentration, but interested in becoming a physician.
