Rarely do we place much dependency and reliance upon a freshman with our program, a program that demands everything be earned.  Nonetheless, Roger has already made such a strong impact on us that we find ourselves creating schemes that place him in the middle of the action.  Roger has brought not just good stickwork and impressive athleticism to the mix,  he has the mental edge and toughness that is what makes him a threat to opposing ball carriers and offenses.  He has come to Brown with some pomp and circumstance, but he has little use for such fanfare.  Roger is driven to be better, and it is this internal fire that is what truly excites the rest of us…Secondary School Background: A graduate of St. Albans School where he lettered in lacrosse, football, hockey, and soccer… Lacrosse team captain… Named an Under Armour All-American… Holds the St. Albans record for career ground balls (576) and ground balls in a single season (233)… Two-time All-Met selection and All-District selection… Also named All-IAC for two years and twice named to the Under Armour Underclassman Team… Helped lead his team to an IAC Co-Championship… Served as class president for three years and as the head prefect his senior year… Personal: The son of Roger Ferguson and Annette Nazareth, a graduate of Brown… Undecided on his concentration.
