PROVIDENCE, RI - Brown University senior Les Haggett (Norwood, NY) and freshman Adam D'Alba (Glencoe, IL) have been honored by the ECACHL, sweeping the League's weekly honors for their part in leading Brown to three points (1-0-1) in a weekend series with RPI (T, 3-3) and Union (W, 2-0). The win over Union put the Bears (5-4-2) above the .500 mark for the first time all season.

The Bears' second-leading scorer with 10 points (5g,5a), Haggett helped to lead Brown to three points over the weekend with two goals and one assist, earning Player of the Week recognition. With under 7:00 left in the game, Haggett scored the game-tying goal as Brown salvaged the point. The next night against Union, Haggett scored his fifth goal of the year late in the first period, which would prove to be the game-winning goal, in the 2-0 victory. He finished +2 and was on the ice for four of Brown's five goals on the weekend.

The Goaltender of the Week last week, D'Alba was honored for the second straight week, earning both Goaltender and Rookie of the Week honors. On Friday against RPI, D'Alba made 34 saves on 37 shots, including everything he faced in the final 35:00 of action and 13 saves in the second period, allowing Brown to come back and earn the tie. The next night against Union, D'Alba picked up his first career shutout and the first point of his career, earning an assist on the game-winning goal. He finished the night with 36 saves, including 18 in the first period. He currently has a 1.35 GAA, second in the ECACHL and in the nation, and a .962 save percentage, first in the nation.
