Ryan Garbutt plays with an aggressive mentality and is the Bears' leading returning scorer from a year ago. An Honorable Mention All-Ivy honoree in 2008, Garbutt is a valuable member of Brown's front line, and will look to be a major contributor, especially on the power-play.

2007-2008: Played in 29 games, finishing with 23 points (12g, 11a), including 8-8-16 numbers in ECAC Hockey contests ... Led the team with 12 goals and eight power-play goals and also had one game-winner and one empty-net goal ... Led Brown with 11 points (5g, 6a) in Ivy contests ... Closed out the season with a six-game point scoring streak, notching 6-4-10 totals in the final six games of the season, while scoring at least one goal in the final four ...
