ALBANY, N.Y. – Sophomore Mark Naclerio (Milford, Conn.) of the Brown University men's hockey team has been named the ECAC Player of the Week for the third time this season, announced by the league office Tuesday morning.
Naclerio recorded four points on three goals and one assist to lead Brown to a split against No. 18 Colgate and No. 11 Cornell. Naclerio posted a pair of goals, including the game-winning tally, and added one assist in Friday's 5-2 win over Colgate, before adding a third-period goal in a 2-1 loss to the Big Red Saturday. Naclerio was plus-4 on the weekend and was 31-of-49 (.633) on face-offs. He leads the Bears in goals (14), points (29) and game-winning goals (4).
Naclerio was previously named the ECAC Player of the Week on Oct. 29, 2013 and Jan. 7, 2014.
The Bears return to action on Friday, Feb. 7 when they visit No. 4 Union at 7 p.m.
