As a Junior in 2011: One of six Bears to play in all 31 games … Notched 15 points (8g, 7a), posting career-highs in both goals and points … Scored one short-handed goal and one game-winning goal … Earned 6-3-9 totals in ECAC Hockey contests … Played either left or right wing on either the second or third line for most of the season … Key part of the Bears’ power play and penalty kill as one of the fastest skaters on the team … Tallied an assist on the goal that tied the score at 1-1, in 2-1 win over Princeton ... Before Brown: Farnham finished his high school hockey career at Phillips Andover, after two seasons at the Brooks School … A co-captain of the Phillips Andover team in 2007-2008, Farnham finished the season with 51 points (21g, 30a), earning First Team All-New England Prep and Lawrence Eagle Tribune First Team All-Star honors … Helped to lead Andover to the New England Prep Playoffs, while also earning The Phillipian Sports Athlete of the Year … Named Hockey Night in Boston MVP and Best Pro Prospect in 2007 … Earned Eagle Tribune Player of the Year honors in 2006 while at Brooks … Also earned Boston Globe All-Scholastic, ISL Division II MVP honors, and All-New England Prep Division II in 2006 … Was the 2005 Hockey Night in Boston Sophomore MVP … Finished his high school career with 173 points (89g, 84a), leading Brooks to the ISL Division II Championship in both 2005 and 2006 … Also the starting third baseman for the Andover baseball team, helping to lead the team to back-to-back NE Prep Championships, while batting .364 as a junior and .433 as a senior.
