PROVIDENCE, RI – Second-year head men's hockey coach Brendan Whittet '94 will be one of the featured interviews on this week's College Hockey All-Access show. Whittet will be interviewed by Jason Weinstein as part of the weekly show, which can be heard each Saturday at 11:00 a.m. (re-broadcast Sunday at 12:00 noon) on NHL HOME ICE, XM 204, Sirius 208. Whittet's show will air this coming weekend, November 13th and 14th.
Brown is currently led by junior assistant captain Jack Maclellan (Calgary, ALB), who has six points (2g, 4a) in the Bears first four games with at least one point in each of those games. Senior captain Harry Zolnierczyk (Toronto, ONT) is second on the team with five points (2g, 3a). Freshman Dennis Robertson (Fort St. John, BC) leads the team with three goals, all on the power play, while Maclellan and sophomore Chris Zaires (Aberdeen, NJ) share the team lead with four assists.
The Bears are in the midst of a period of 12 straight days without a game. Having opened the season with a 1-2-1 record, Brown has a tough stretch ahead, as it will travel to Colgate and Cornell before making a pair of single-day trips to New Hampshire and Boston University during the week of Thanksgiving.
