Brendan Whittet to be Interviewed During Tonight's Hockey on Campus
PROVIDENCE, RI - Brown men's hockey head coach Brendan Whittet
will be interviewed on tonight's "Hockey on Campus" online radio
stream. The regular weekly three-hour podcast airs every Wednesday
from 7-10 p.m. EST. The nation's most comprehensive college hockey
podcast program is co-hosted each week by Bernie Corbett and Paul
McNamara. The show can be accessed through the website at www.hockeyoncampus.com and is
archived on the site following the live cybercast.
In the midst of a five-game winning streak, the Bears head into a
three-week break for exams and the holidays with a 5-7-1 overall
record. They have already matched their win total from all of last
season, while the five-game winning streak is the longest since the
2003-04 season when former Hobey Baker Finalist and All-American
Yann Danis '04 was in net.
Sophomore Jack Maclellan (Calgary, ALB) leads six different Bears
who have reached double digits in scoring with 12 points (5g, 7a),
while senior Aaron Volpatti (Revelstoke, BC) and freshman Chris
Zaires (Aberdeen, NJ) are tied for second with 11 points. Sophomore
Mike Clemente (Great Falls, VA) has seen the majority of time in
net and has posted a 2.72 GAA with a .916 save percentage.
