There's Plenty of Room for Imrovement for this Brown Sextet

Heading into his first season as Brown men’s hockey coach, Brendan Whittet is confident his team will win its share.

But in trying to resurrect a hockey program that’s fallen on hard times, the Brown alum and Riverside native won’t judge this season solely on wins and losses.

“Success for us is laying the foundation, setting the culture, competing every time we’re on the ice, not taking shifts off.

“Success will be –– and it’s hard to quantify –– reestablishing the Brown program, getting people excited again about our program, making sure we’re doing a good job recruiting, bringing in the right kind of kids, kids who are going to help this program get to a championship level.”
