Golfers in 10th Place After Day One of URI Spring Invitational

After the first day of competition at the URI Spring Invitational, the Brown golf team is in 10th place out of 16 teams with a 323 first round score.

URI is in first with 298, followed by Harvard (302), Rollins College (305), Binghamton University (307), and Yale and Dartmouth are both tied for fifth (308).

Lanny Benson is Brown's top scorer with a first round score of 78. He if followed by Dave Cangemi who carded an 80. Also scoring for the Bears was Sam Ulin (82), Chip Vernig (83), and Aaron Telch (86).

The second round will take place at 1:30 p.m.
