Bears Finish Eighth in Ivy Championships

The Brown's men's golf team placed eight at the Ivy League Championship held at the Metedeconk National Golf Club. The Bears shot a three-round 980. Princeton claimed its fourth Ivy League crown in the last five years using rounds of 310-305-310 to card a 925 and take the first-place spot. Pennsylvania finished second (942), followed by Columbia (944), Yale (945), Harvard (955), Cornell (956), and Dartmouth (970).

The Bears were led by Jason Ricketts, who carded a three-round 245, placing 26th overall. Freshman Aaron Telch tied for 32nd place shooting a three-round 250.

Also scoring for Brown, Lanny Benson and David Cangemi tied for 36th place, carding scores of 253. Teammate Dan Schochor finished in 39th with a three-round score of 254.
