Bears Wrap-Up Fall Season At Homewood Hilton Airport Invitational

 

The Brown men's golf team wrapped-up its fall 2016 season at the Homewood Hilton Airport Invitational, hosted by Florida Gulf Coast University, at the par 72, 6,750 yard Old Corkscrew Golf Club in Estero, Florida. The Bears placed 14th in the field on rounds of 326-317-317—960.
 

Eastern Kentucky shot a 54-hole 888 to win the team championship by four shots over host Florida Gulf Coast (892), followed by Central Florida (896), Bethune-Cookman (897), Stetson (915), Florida Atlantic (918), Ohio (918), Georgetown (930), St. Bonaventure (932), South Dakota State (935), Creighton (946), Central Connecticut (948), Ave Maria (950), Brown (960), Savannah State (972), and Florida A&M (999).

 

Junior Kevin Li (Vancouver, BC), lead the Brown team with a 54-hole 235 on round of 77-76-72, to finish 41st individually.  Right behind him was freshman Kenneth Li (Westmont, IL) who shot 81-80-76—237, and senior Connor Lynch (Bradenton, FL), who came in at 238 on rounds of 84-76-78.

 

Senior Chad Carlson (Overland Park, KS) turned in scores of 84-85-81—250, while sophomore Bryan Hong (Newport Coast, CA) finished at 256 after shooting 84-88-84.
