New Haven, Conn. - Playing in cold, rainy and blustery conditions for two days, Brown's men's golf team earned an 11th place finish at the rain-shortened MacDonald Cup, played at the par 70, 6,800 yard Yale Golf Course. The Bears shot 314-311-625 for its 12th place finish, while Harvard earned a 12-shot win over second place Minnesota.
Sophomore Kevin Li paced the Bears once again with rounds of 74-74—148 to place 24th individually in the 73-player field. Junior Chad Carlson shot 79-79—158, while junior Connor Lynch (81-79) and sophomore Ben Warner (80-80) each shot 160.
Freshman Bryan Hong also scored for the Bears with rounds of 82-79—161.
The Bears will play in the Georgetown Invitational at the Members Club at Four Streams on October 19-20 to close out their fall season.
