Brown Places 13th At The Classic At Shelter Harbor

Westerly, RI -  Brown wrapped-up its fall men's golf schedule with a 13th place finish at The Classic at Shelter Harbor, held at the par-71 2,995 yard Shelter Harbor Golf Club.  The Bears shot a 36-hole 633 on rounds of 316-322.

 

Dartmouth (594) captured the team championship by six shots over UConn (600), followed by Columbia (603), Princeton (606), Fordham (611), Central Connecticut (611),  Yale (614), Hartford (619), Boston College (623), Penn (628), Rhode Island (630), Holy Cross (631), Brown (633), Cornell (646), and Bryant (651).

 

Freshman Justin Miller led the Bears and finished 31st individually with a 36-hole 156 (80-76).  Sophomore Peter Callas was 37th individually with rounds of 75-83—158. 

 

Junior captain JD Ardell came in at 160 (81-79), while freshman Jon Greb shot 80-84—164.  Sophomore Kyohei Itamura completed the tournament with rounds of 85-87—172.
