Men’s Golfers Improve 17 Shots After Round Two of Ivy Championship

Springfield, NJ  -  Head coach Mike Hughes saw his team improve its first round score by 17 shots after completion of the second day of play at the Ivy League Championship held on the Lower Course at the par-70 Baltusrol Golf Club.

 

Columbia (596) leads by two shots over Penn (598) in the closely contested tournament, followed by Yale (599), Harvard (600), Cornell (603), Dartmouth (605), Princeton (615) and Brown (629).

 

All five of Brown's scores were in the 70's, with junior Michael amato and freshman Jack Mylott shooting 76 each. 

 

Senior captain John Giannuzzi and freshman Chris Williams each came in at 77 today, while freshman JD Ardell added 79 for the Bears.

 

The Bears will complete play on Sunday, teeing off at 11:00 am to 11:40 am in the final round of the Ivy League Championship.
