Coach Phil Estes' Brown football team will conclude its non-league schedule with a match-up against Holy Cross in Worcester, Mass., the first meeting between the two schools since 1995. Brown fans can listen to the game on WSKO-AM 790 The Score, with Scott Cordischi calling the play and Mike Wall '99 providing the color commentary.

Last week, Brown's second half rally came up short in the annual battle for the Governor's Cup against URI, as the Bears dropped a 28-21 decision to Rhode Island in Kingston to fall to 1-2 for the season. Holy Cross extended its record to 3-2 overall with a 28-21 homecoming victory over Fordham.

Brown and Holy Cross have played 51 times, dating back to 1898,with the Crusaders holding a 28-20-3 series advantage. The Bears and Crusaders haven't met since a 37-14 Brown victory on September 30, 1995. Brown is riding a two-game winning streak (1994, 1995) over Holy Cross after dropping the previous six meetings. The two teams are now scheduled to play at least through 2011.
