Providence, RI - Brown University junior wide receiver Jarrett Schreck (Montville, NJ) was named the Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week following his near record-setting performance in Saturday's 35-34 loss to Harvard at Brown Stadium.
The 5-9 Schreck turned in a Herculean effort against Harvard, making 10 catches for 253 yards and an 83-yard touchdown. Schreck's 253 receiving yards are second best in Brown history and fifth in the Ivy League record book. In addition, his 83-yard touchdown reception from quarterback Joe DiGiacomo is the second longest pass-play in the Brown football history.
Sschreck currently leads the nation in receiving yards with 164.5 yards per game, and ranks 6th nationally in All-Purpose Running with 175.0 yards per game. He is also 19th in the nation with 7.0 receptions per game.
