Trailing 16-0 at the half, Brown's second half rally came up two points short as the Bears dropped a 16-14 decision to Princeton in an Ivy League game at Princeton Stadium.

Junior quarterback Nate Poole tossed a 30 yard scoring pass to senior Brandon Buchanan for Brown's first score with 2:14 left in the third quarter. Poole then drove the Bears 80 yards in six plays, with senior Joe Rackley driving into the end zone for a three yard touchdown to pull the Bears to within 16-14 with 11:43 remaining in the game.

Brown had several opportunities down the stretch, but Poole was intercepted twice in the last five minutes.

Senior All-American Chas Gessner caught 9 passes for 80 yards, while senior Ian Malepeai caught 8 passes for 91 yards. Rackley returned to the lineup and ran 15 times for 42 yards.

Defensively, senior linebacker Jeremiah Watts and sophomore defensive back Anjel Gutierrez made 10 tackles each. Junior Chriatian Garnett had eight tackles, including three for a loss of 10 yards.
