Seth Rosenbauer ’16 Named Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week

Providence, R.I. – With windswept rain pelting the Franklin Field tundra, Brown junior back-up quarterback Seth Rosenbauer (Lima, OH) rushed for a career-high 206 yards and two touchdowns in a 21-13 Ivy League win over Penn, and was named the Ivy League's Co-Offensive Player of the Week.

Rosenbauer, who did not attempt a pass, lined up at tailback, wide receiver and took direct snaps to give the Bears a power running attack to counteract the elements, rushing for 206 yards on 30 carries.  He scored touchdowns on runs of one and two yards, while also making an eight-yard catch as a wide receiver. His 206 rushing yards rank 11th best in Brown football history.

The 6-3, 240 Rosenbauer often ran for five yards and carried the pile another five-to-six yards for a first down. He moved the chains for the Bears, running for 12 first downs, and catching a pass for another.

Rosenbauer and his Brown teammates will host Yale on Saturday, November 8 at Brown Stadium.  The game will be televised live on Fox College Sports, starting at 12:30 pm.
