Providence, Rhode Island - Brown's All-Ivy wide receiver Alex Tounkara-Kone will get an opportunity to display his skills at the next level, signing a contract to attend the Buffalo Bills' three-day Rookie Mini-Camp on May 11.
NFL scouts had particular interest in Tounkara-Kone based on his 6-4, 220 frame, and the fact that the Belgium native had never seen a football game before enrolling in high school in Staten Island, NY.
He emerged as a two-time All-Ivy selection for the Bears catching 49 passes in 2011 and leding the Bears with 590 receiving yards.
Tounkara-Kone's 110 career receptions rank 10th best in the Brown record book, and his 1,381 career receiving yards are 11th best in Brown football history. He turned in an outstanding performance against Stony Brook, making seven receptions for 149 yards, while hauling in touchdown passes of 38 and 46 yards.
