Harvard Barely Defeats Brown in Rowing

Oct. 16, 2001

The Bears maintained a second place finish, as Harvard completed the 3.1-mile race 15 seconds faster than Brown. Other race participants included Cornell, Yale, Dartmouth, and Syracuse.

Brown's second eight finished 13th, while Brown's fours finished fourth and fifth.

High wind conditions hampered the crews of all teams.

Brown returns to action this weekend, where the team will have entries in championship eights, fours and youth eights at the Head of The Charles Regatta in Boston.
