Men's Crew Finishes First at Tail of the Charles

Cambridge, MA - In the last competition of the fall racing season, the Brown men's crew finished in first place at the Tail of the Charles on Saturday morning. Bruno's varsity four "A" claimed the title with a 13:35.1, followed by Boston University's 13:35.2, and Brown "B" finished in third with a 13:36.7.

Brown's first place boat comprised of junior coxswain Rob O'Leary (Fayetteville, NY), junior Gareth Seymour (Niagara Falls, ONT) at stroke, sophomore Ben Duggan (Bingham, UK) in the third seat, sophomore Scott Morgan (Palo Alto, CA) in the two seat, and at bow was senior Colin Keogh (Greenwich, CT).

The guys did a good job and it was a great way to finish off the fall racing season," said Head Coach Paul Cooke. "It was our first win at that race since we started racing there six years ago."

Brown "B" also had an outstanding performance in the race, placing third with a 13:36.7. Sophomore Devin Wilmot (Saratoga Springs, NY) was coxswain, sophomore Cole Bonner (Chicago, IL) was at stroke, followed by senior Garrett Kirk (Boston, MA) in the three seat, sophomore Gavin Crynes (Seattle, WA) in the two seat and at bow was senior Ryan McShane (Eugene, OR).
