The Brown men's crew team lost its second race in a row to fourth ranked, Northeastern, on Saturday, April 17.
Northeastern was in control of the race by the half way point, leading by a full length. The Huskies extended the lead to a length and a quarter at 1500 meters, eventually finishing with a time of 5:54.1 while the Bears came in at 5:55.8.
Brown took the other two races on the day, beating NU in the 2nd varsity 6:02.3 to 6:18.5 and in the freshman race 5:56.3 to 6:03.7.
With the loss Brown drops to 1-2. NU and Brown are now tied in the all-time record at 20-20.
