"Greetings from Paris, France.

We have made it to Europe safely, after a very long flight. Everyone on the team agrees that the effects of jetlag have exhausted us more than we all expected. Our trip was smooth, and although we were all very tired, we had a chance to see some of Paris' great sights on only our first day here. We exchanged our currency, and learned very quickly that the dollar is not so strong abroad. The city is beautiful, the people polite and accommodating.

We had our first game last night against an excellent Okapie All-Star team. It was great seeing Damon Huffman `08, as he appears to be doing very well.

We have just arrived back in Paris after spending the night in Brugge. The guys have most of the day to ourselves before going for a relaxing dinner cruise on the Seine River. These first few days have gone quickly, as there is so much to see. It feels like the best is still yet to come. Goodbye for now."
